Order Pickers N20 C LoL

Long-Armed Picking Assistant

Back-friendly picking of two pallets successively

The N20 C LoL order picker enables the ergonomic filling of two pallets in just one order picking cycle thanks to long load arms and the additional liftable fork. The operator first starts with one pallet at the desired height, while a second pallet can be secured vertically to the back of the fork with a special safety device. As soon as the first pallet is filled, it is lowered onto the load arms and transported in front of the fork. The second pallet can then be effortlessly transferred onto the forks and loaded at a height that is easy on the back. The N20 C LoL thus offers fast and ergonomic order picking. In the process, the mast can be controlled to the right and left of the backrest and the vehicle can be moved to the next rack segment. The operator's platform can be raised to allow occasional picking on the second rack level. The initial lift also ensures easy transport over ramps and uneven surfaces.

Characteristics

Safety

The vehicle automatically adjusts its speed both on bends and when the fork is lowered, thereby increasing the safety of the operator and the load. In addition, the N20 C LoL has three different braking systems. These increase braking power in proportion to the weight of the load and stop the vehicle as soon as the operator's platform is unoccupied. Moreover, the vehicle brakes automatically when the operator releases the driving switch. The flattened contours and rounded edges on the operator's platform further minimise risk. The N20 C LoL is equipped with protective devices on both sides of the chassis to protect feet from injury when operating the vehicle using the pedestrian controls on both sides of the backrest.

  • Automatic speed adjustment on bends
  • Low speed with lowered fork
  • Three different braking systems
  • Rounded chassis

Ergonomics

The N20 C LoL order picker is very user friendly: low and wide access on both sides of the vehicle allows flexible and quick picking from both sides of the rack. Accordingly, mast control and the controls for traction and initial lift are also located on both sides of the backrest. Once the first pallet has been filled, the operator can easily transfer the second pallet, which is optionally carried on the back of the fork, to a height that is easy on the back and ready for loading. Both the Linde steering wheel and the backrest are adjustable and can be individually adapted to the operator. The cushioned platform reduces vibrations in the operator's platform caused by driving on uneven ground.

  • Spacious access on both sides
  • Low entry height
  • Mast and pedestrian control on both sides
  • Height-adjustable steering wheel and backrest
  • Reduction of vibrations

Handling

Powered by a 3 kW three-phase AC motor, the N20 C LoL order picker quickly accelerates to 12 km/h (7.5 mph). Fully loaded, it reaches 9 km/h (5.6 mph). The Linde on-board charger makes battery handling easy. The optional lithium-ion battery also increases the availability of the vehicles through short and fast intermediate charging. The Linde steering wheel with its simple design, which can be adapted for each individual operator, ensures intuitive and sensitive control. The controls for all operating and mast functions are integrated into the steering wheel and are clearly arranged. This allows the N20 C LoL to be manoeuvred quickly and easily, even in confined spaces. The operator's workstation also has storage areas, a bottle holder, and a knee guard that can be used as a paper compartment.

  • Powerful 3 kW three-phase AC motor
  • Linde steering wheel with intuitive controls
  • Linde on-board charger
  • Lithium-ion battery available
  • Various storage areas and compartments

Service

The three-phase AC technology is completely maintenance-free and there is no need to readjust the brakes. A service check is only necessary after approximately 1000 operating hours. All vehicle data can be read out quickly and easily using the CAN bus connection. The technician can easily reach all service components and open the battery cover without any problems.

  • Maintenance-free three-phase electric motor
  • No readjustment of the brakes
  • 1000 operating hours without service check
  • CAN bus connection
  • Easily accessible service components

Optional Equipment

The semi-automated option (SA) for order pickers from Linde Material Handling

Semi-automated option

The two semi-automated (SA) operating modes shorten walking distances and reduce the need for constant stepping on and off the truck since the order picker automatically follows the operator or drives ahead. This significantly increases the efficiency of horizontal order picking.

Liftable operator's platform

The operator platform can be lifted to allow occasional order picking at the first and second rack levels up to 2.8 metres picking height.

Fleet management

The Fleet Management connect solution from Linde allows you to analyse the use of the entire fleet of vehicles in order to subsequently optimise the service or capacity utilisation of the truck fleet, amongst other things.

The two LED headlights are located at the front and have a high brightness. They are waterproof and dustproof.

Pallet locking device from pallet truck N20 C LoL from Linde Material Handling

Pallet locking device

The locking device is mounted to the load backrest and enables the safe vertical transportation of a second pallet while the first pallet is being filled by the operator.

Cushioned platform

The pneumatically-cushioned construction reduces vibrations caused by uneven road surfaces.

Load backrest

An additional protection for the operator and load is the load backrest, which can be adapted to the height of the load.

Linde BlueSpot™

The Linde BlueSpot™ route warning system increases safety in operation, as the LED spot makes trucks silently visible.

Lithium-ion battery

With Linde's innovative lithium-ion batteries, trucks can be recharged in a much shorter time and intermediately charged during operation. This increases the availability of the vehicles.

Inching controls

There are pushbuttons on both sides of the lift mast, which the operator uses to operate the order picker from the outside, walking alongside at the same time.

Panoramic front mirror

A large mirror at the front of the vehicle provides a good all-round view and thus increases safety for the operator, load and pedestrians.

Lateral battery change

The lateral battery removal, by means of roller bearings, enables a quick change, especially for use in multi-shift applications.

Accident monitoring

Whether driving errors, uneven surfaces or improper vehicle use, a shock sensor registers shocks. The evaluation of the data via the fleet management software provides information on the cause of damage and accidents.

Slowed lowering

When the fork is fully loaded, the lowering speed is reduced. This provides additional protection against damage to the goods.

Access control

Access control via the connect fleet management system ensures that vehicles are only used by authorised persons. The operator must identify him or herself with a PIN or RFID card before starting.
