Your Tasks as a Commissioning Engineer at KION Automation

  • Commissioning automated systems and adapting them to customer specific requirements.
  • Testing and validating complete solutions while reporting progress to the Project Manager.
  • Providing technical support to customers on-site, via phone, or through remote diagnostics.
  • Training customers and technicians on system operation and maintenance.
  • Conducting simulations and fault analysis to optimise solutions and resolve issues efficiently.

Your Profile as a Commissioning Engineer at KION Automation

  • Technical background through a degree (e.g., Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering) or an electrical engineering qualification with additional certifications.
  • Experience in commissioning or complex industrial projects (e.g., robotics, automotive, aeronautics) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of software programming (C, C++, Matlab) and automation software is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and high willingness to travel, both within Germany and internationally.
  • Fluency in English.
