The Ri14 – Ri18 focus on comfort and ergonomics. One unique selling point is the operator’s workstation, which is fully decoupled from the chassis and effectively minimises vibrations and shocks. In combination with the sprung operator’s seat, this ensures that the operator can work comfortably and without getting tired. The generously designed operator’s workstation offers plenty of freedom of movement, numerous shelves and ample storage space. The steering wheel, seat and optionally the pedal plate too can be individually adjusted to ensure that operators of all heights and sizes can always work comfortably. All handles and controls are also ergonomically designed, intuitive to use and built to last. The access step is low and particularly wide. This, combined with the non-slip surface and the convenient grab handle, means that the operator can get in and out comfortably and safely at any time. Additional padding in the knee and head areas complete the overall ergonomic concept.

With the optional PowerDrive and PowerLift functions, the Ri14 – Ri18 achieve a high handling capacity and the fastest lifting speeds in their standard class. The integrated battery and compact design mean that the trucks are particularly agile and can be manoeuvred precisely even in tight warehouse areas. In the load capacity range of up to 1.8 metric tonnes, the two mast variants enable lifting heights of up to eleven metres with a high residual load capacity. The operator can control the mast functions ergonomically and with millimetre precision using Linde Load Control, which enables particularly straightforward and efficient load handling in combination with the dual-pedal control. The raised seating position and optimised operator’s workstation design provide the operator with excellent all-round visibility of the goods and surroundings at all times. The operator can also view all of the important information on the state-of-the-art 4.3-inch touchscreen display. With their 14.3 kWh lithium-ion battery as standard, the reach trucks are particularly energy-efficient and reliable. A more powerful battery is available if required. The onboard charger or integrated quick-charging socket available as optional extras also provide additional flexibility in managing charging. If opportunity charging is not possible in multi-shift operation, the Ri14 – Ri18 offer a unique solution with the optional Li-ION replaceable battery.

With their robust design, maintenance-free elements and optimally accessible components, the Ri14 – Ri18 models offer maximum availability with minimum service times. Durable assemblies and maintenance-free components such as the induction-hardened reach profiles in the wheel arms for moving the mast forward minimise wear and reduce operating costs. All the key mechanical and electrical components are easily accessible, making maintenance fast, straightforward and safe. The Ri14 – Ri18 can be integrated into digital processes. The innovative E&E architecture means that software updates and the installation of new truck functions can be carried out conveniently via remote access if an optional data transmission unit is fitted. This means that key truck data is available at all times for planning, remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance. There is also the option of centrally monitoring and analysing all truck data through networking with the myLinde fleet management system. In addition, Linde MH’s dense regional service network guarantees fast and professional support at all times.
