Welder - Double Day Shift

Ideal candidates will be apprenticeship served welders / welder fabricators with experience in MAG welding on heavy plate. Candidates with general engineering backgrounds with experience in fabrication will also be considered.

Applicants must have a knowledge of fabrication drawings.

Applicants must be able to set up a basic MAG plant and weld consistently defect free.

Applicants must competent in MAG fillet welding on heavy plate, and multi run fillet welding to a consistently high standard.

Applicants must be familiar with weld sizes.

Applicants must be able to make fabrications in welding fixtures to tight tolerances in a given time scale.

The applicant must be able to display a safe working attitude during the test.

Applicants will be required to bring their own welding mask and overalls, boots to the test.
Shift times
Double days
41.25 hours 6am – 2.45pm
32.75 hours 2.45pm – 23.30
