Internal Transport and Fabrication Stores
To take responsibility and control of all internal transport and fabrication stores operations over four shifts, including:
-
Control parts movement between and within Pre-Ops, Fabrication, Assembly Cells and Stores

Control Fabrication Stores including Goods-in LGF
-
Co-ordinate with production/ fabrication supervision to ensure correct pick sequences and availability of Fabrication and Assembly Parts
-
Responsible for Stock Accuracy in the Fabrication Area and Line Side Stores
-
Ensure that all physical part transfers are recorded in SAP R3
-
Picking and packing of Kits
-
Organise "Milk Runs" between Assembly Lines/ Fabrications Cells and Stores
-
Unloading and loading of inbound and outbound trucks
-
Implement the 5S policy
Key Skills
-
Self starter with Drive and enthusiasm and the ability to lead and motivate individuals
-
Good communication skills
-
Warehouse management experience
-
Familiar with lean manufacturing / supply chain principles
-
Knowledge of warehouse management systems, ideally SAP/R3
-
Proven track record in change management and implementation of lean principles
-
Ideally professional logistics qualification or degree qualified
-
PC literate (MS Office)
